Course Description

The online version of this course is delivered via Microsoft Teams meeting with a live instructor. Electricity finds its way into virtually every corner of our workplace, bringing with it a very real and sizable set of hazards. Effective management of these unique hazards is absolutely critical to ensuring the safety of personnel and equipment. Power Solutions Group has a thorough understanding of the technical and practical challenges involved with electrical safety, including arc flash and shock hazards. We have the experience and expertise to provide the knowledge required to properly identify all electrical hazards and to eliminate/mitigate the risk associated with the hazards. This one-day course covers information regarding hazards present while installing, operating, maintaining or working near electrical equipment. It includes information from NFPA 70E Electrical Safety in the Workplace, other relevant standards and legislative requirements. In addition, the course details work practices, guidelines, qualification requirements, PPE and tools necessary to work safely with or around electrical equipment.
